The Jammu & Kashmir International Arbitration Centre has been established by the Common High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Ms. Justice Gita Mittal, the Chief Justice of Common High Court of J&K and Ladakh and is to be inaugurated on 28th October, 2020. JKIAC strives to bring finality to the discords between the parties in an amicable, efficient and economically viable manner, thereby ensuring effective dispensation of justice. JKIAC offers its services from its wings at Srinagar and Jammu, initially from the buildings of respective Mediation Centres at Jammu and Srinagar which are fairly accessible to lawyers and litigants. The Centre, at both wings, accommodates office of the Coordinator, office chamber of Arbitrator, staff room, waiting hall, reception area on the ground floor, conference halls on the first floor, consultation rooms and facilities of stenographers and support staff for ensuring the smooth conduct of arbitration proceedings and overall functioning of the Centre.
